Guitar-phenom, Steve Gordon took his time making this debut CD, and it was worth the wait!! Some Dreams Do Come True is the culmination of a journey that begins in the mid-80’s when Gordon and his multi-talented associate, Alan Douglass formed the jazz-fusion group, Elevation. What separates Gordon from the multitude of other great guitar players is his highly developed sense of melody. You’ll catch yourself humming these melodies in your head – which is quite a feat given their technical complexity. Plus, Gordon’s soaring leads and multiple guitar sounds display his versatility. There is simply no one around that can touch him.

Roberto Ocasio's Latin Jazz Project has finally come out with their first CD release, titled "Algo Para Ti (Something Just for You)" and it was worth the wait. Mixing an infectious blend of salsa, mambo, funk, fusion and rhythm and blues, Ocasio's sound keeps you movin' and groovin' from start to finish. This years winner in the Free Times Music Awards for best Jazz group shows why he has been asked to share the stage with national artists such as Eddie Palmieri, Nestor Torres, Humberto Ramirez, and Arturo Sandoval percussionis, Eugie Castrillo. The eight-piece orchestra gives that big band sound to the latin beat, helping this CD to cross over to both jazz and world music lovers.
