Denzon All-Stars CD Release

Little Fish Records (LFR) announced today Akron native – “Denzon” and his all star backup band will be holding their CD Release party at The Tangier (www.thetangier.com), 532 W. DenZon is a career roots blues singer whose dedication to the blues and R&B genre of music has been a relentless quest. Over the past 20 years he has toured the States to spread the word, sharing the stage with marquee artists such as Koko Taylor, Jr. Wells, Fabulous Thunderbirds, The Nighthawks, John Mayall, Johnny Winter, Dickie Betts, Grand Funk Railroad, Freddie Salem & Steel Justice, Joe Bonamassa, and Leon Russell just to name a few. He has recently been nominated in three categories at the Los Angeles Music Awards: Album of the Year, Best New Artist, and Single of the year. He will be attending the ceremony on November 12th and may get a chance to get on stage.
The CD “Shoot From the Hip” presents 10 songs of southern fried blues, made to possibly cross into alternative areas due to the many musical roots and influences of the tracks. The current offering is written and produced by former Outlaws, Godz guitarist Freddie Salem and features some of the most notable session musicians in the country. The players include Joe Walsh and Eagles drummer Joe Vitale with crisp horn arrangements by cutting edge jazz trumpeter Josh Rzepka and back to church keyboardist and arranger David Thomas with Freddie Salem on guitars.
DenZon has and always will be quite comfortable touring non-stop to promote his upcoming offering.The road is his home.
Opening the night will be another Akron native – singer/songwriter Zach & the Brite Lights and the Little Fish trifecta will be completed with Robin Stone, who will finish off the night

Falling Into Fire to Open for Tantric

Modern rockers- Falling into Fire- will be opening for Tantric at the Cleveland Agora, 5000 Euclid Avenue / Cleveland 44103 on Thursday, May 28th. Doors open at 6:30. Tickets are $10 advance and / $13 day of show. Contact msiegel13@gmail.com for tickets.

FIF's recent CD release, titled "13", has received great reviews and the band has continued to refine their stage show. The group recently added new bass player Ryan Fleming to the lineup, bringing a new energy to the sound. Also on the bill will be Rogue, and the Breezeway.
